New Hotel Renovation Project

RS Design and their renowned Malaysian Design Architects and designer Stephen Ye planning on a new restoration and expansion project for the Hotel in Kuala Lumpur. RS Design, involved in the development of the interior design of this large and highly prestigious assignment, will create custom-made furnishings in a fully inclusive turn-key project.

The hotel, built in the 1950s and extended in the 1980s, will return it to its former splendor thanks to attentive restoration and integration that will be carried out by the company.

RS Design is particularly enthusiastic to take part in refashioning the interiors using its hallmark essential elegance and sophisticated modern style, which will emphasize the dynamic atmosphere that thrives in the Milanese metropolis.

The Project includes lobby renovations, ballrooms, guestrooms, corridors, bathrooms, swimming Pool remodelling.

We planned to create a walk-in shower out of an existing bathtub space. It requires a larger drain, installing a new shower valve higher than existing one, and could range from an acrylic surround to a full custom tile shower with seats, body spray and a “rain” showerhead.

Walls may have to come down or be cut open, floors may have to be ripped out, and plumbing lines and electrical components may need to be replaced.

Other improvements include an outdoor patio and bar, new furnishings in all 136 rooms, a redesigned hotel lobby, new carpeting and wall covers in the hallway.

“I am extremely proud that our Group, and in particular Stephen Ye, is part of such an important project for the development and prestige of this Hotel.”
